Eureka Tent Review

Looking for tents? It can be confusing trying to find the best tents with so many tents and web sites to choose from.

We have been investigating this market for some time now, and after careful research, trial and error, we have chosen a Eureka tent as the best value in tents today.

We currently own several Eureka tents (Timberline 6, Tetragon 9 & 5) for our use in Scouting, Search and Rescue events.

Why do we like Eureka tents? First it is the best value in its price ranges and size selections. We also think the variety and availability is second to none.

This month we used a new Eureka Tetragon 5 tent right from the box for a wilderness training event at a mountain base camp at 7,500 ft. Yes, right from the box without any sealing! Of course, I took and setup another tent that was trip ready for the event just-in-case. As the story goes, after arriving it rained and hailed for the next 3 days and nights. We would not recommend you take a tent and use it right from the box, because so many thing can be an issue. Take your new tent out at home and inspect it by putting it up following the manufacturer instructions. Make sure you have all the parts required. If you have all the parts, set it up and look at the fabric materials for major or minor defects. If you find major issues go back to the store for return instructions. Minor fabric issues like pin holes can be corrected using a manufacturer recommended seam sealer. Not all sealers are a like so know what sealer you need. Damage or reduced life expectancy of the tent can occur if you use the wrong sealer product.

We are extremely impressed with the reputation of Eureka tents like the Tetragon and Timberline models and the fact that we stayed dry for so many days. Leave nothing to chance, this is your shelter from the elements. Be safe and enjoy! Where can you find tents?
